How does Fedd work?
Take a photo of your fridge. Fedd identifies the ingredients, asks how many people you're feeding, and gives you a recipe with 5-8 minutes of active prep time. No typing, no account needed.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Fedd works fully from the first launch — no email, no password. Your pantry profile and history are stored locally on your device. An optional account may be offered later if you want to sync across devices.
The ingredient scan got something wrong. What do I do?
Tap any detected ingredient tag to remove it, or use the correction step shown right after your photo is analyzed. If the scan misses several key items, try retaking the photo in better lighting.
Why can't I get more than 3 recipe suggestions per scan?
Fedd limits suggestions to 1 initial recipe + 2 alternatives on purpose — it's designed to stop decision fatigue, not add to it. If none of the three work, try rescanning your fridge.
How do I delete my data?
Since everything is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the app removes all your data. If you've created an optional account, contact us below to request deletion.
